Theological note: Scripture calls for faithful stewardship of creation, honest labor, and provision for families and communities, while also requiring care for the land and fair dealing in its use. This disapproval touches the proper balance between responsible resource development and prudent public land management. The question is prudential and does not directly involve a named moral evil.
